Welcome to the Nobelity In Schools Program, an online and interactive resource center for students and teachers alike. The purpose of this educational resource website is to use the award winning film NOBELITY as a catalyst to raise awareness and explore possible solutions to the many challenges faced by this and future generations. The activities and lessons offer an accessible way for educators and students of various disciplines to engage in discussions of issues such as global health, energy challenges, East/West cultural divides, economic disparities, human rights and the struggle for peace.

The lessons range from individual lessons, learning extensions to complement the films, or indepth units of study. In addition to receiving the DVD, educators and students have access to The Nobelity Video Library, a continually expanding collection of streaming video of Nobel Laureates and other inspirational leaders. These videos will stimulate classroom discussion, help connect real-world problems and solutions to academic criteria, and encourage students to work toward conflict resolution options that will translate into action in your community and show students how small changes can resonate throughout the world.

Although the problems may seem overwhelming to many of us, it is through the energy and innovative thinking of educators and students that change is possible. Through a sharing of ideas and open discussion, together, we will find the answers to the difficult questions posed by the nine Nobel Laureates. In this spirit of cooperation and sharing, we invite you to use the DVD Nobelity and the ideas and lessons from this site to further the movement to education and action. By ordering the DVD you will become part of a growing network of educators currently using this film in the classroom, in extra-curricular club activities and service projects.

Nobelity is an awareness, an understanding of where we stand in regard to the members of our global community. Nobelity is the beginning of the process of solution and a reaching in, as well as a reaching out, to each other, the citizens of the world.
