In 2023 The Nobelity Project built 1 computer lab,1 Preschool, 2 libraries, 3 classrooms, sponsored 6 DeKUT Scholarships, put 250 Books in Learner's Hands with Start a Library, awarded $3,000 towards Arts & Athletics Programs, and distributed $20k in Critical Needs Grants.

We work with over 50 rural school communities across the nation. School is more than bricks and mortar - but they are a great start! Construction over the years includes classrooms and libraries, dorms and toilets, kitchens and dining halls, computer and science labs, clean water systems and sanitation facilities.

Our Scholarship Program has sponsored nearly 100 top scoring graduates, often the first in their families to attend college. Learn more here.

Whether backing regional dance and sport competitions, supplying books or librarian systems like the ARES offline digital libraries, Nobelity has made every effort to close the gap on quality educational experiences for Kenyan youth.

For years we've worked on and off with various partners in and around Honduras and Mexico on conservation education and improved literacy.

On the small island of Roatán, two school buses have been converted to bookmobiles. These help supplement all of the schools schools on the Honduran islands of Roatán and Santos Guardiola with library books and lesson plans. Our longtime friends at Partners in Education Roatan (P.I.E.R.) continue to report test scores are up!

And in the mountains of Michocan, we support the work of Altenare and Monarch Watch to conserve their mariposa refuge. Check out Turk's short film Monarchs: The Milkweed Mission to learn what you can do to help save this butterfly species. We also work with a small high school in Macheros, we are humbled by this sweet video our partners made tracking the construction progress!

PARTNER HIGHLIGHT

The Nobelity Project is an ongoing supporter of Austin literacy nonprofit, BookSpring.

BookSpring builds literacy skills and a lifelong love of reading. We are proud to sponsor BookSpring Fest in 2023 and 2024. If you find yourself in South Austin Cinco de Mayo weekend, be sure to RSVP for this fun family-friendly event! Or donate new and gently used children's books anytime at their drop boxes. Visit bookspring.org to learn about the educational work they do for Central Texans.

Thanks again for making [last year's] BookSpring Fest possible, ...we had over 600 people in attendance, had over 30 special guests read aloud and perform, distributed over 870 books to children in our community, and had so many happy faces all around! ...we were able to provide free carnival games, refreshments, face painters, balloon makers, covid vaccines, and a petting zoo to all the families in attendance so everyone (especially families that might not be able to afford to go to a festival otherwise) could enjoy celebrating reading! - Bianca Paz-Cisneros, BookSpring
