The day began at Nairutia Primary, opening 5 new classrooms built with support from The Nobelity Project, Joseph Kagiri and the local community.
A joyful celebration showed us how important providing education is to this committed group of parents and teachers. Song, dance and many words of thanks filled the morning, as we cut ribbons and officially opened the classrooms. It was wonderful to see the kids so excited about going to school, and the parents there to support the progress.
How incredibly moving to see this beautiful set of classrooms standing – where just a few months ago the parents were digging the foundations themselves.
